Vacation rental
booking calendar

A vacation rental booking calendar is software that displays your property's availability in real-time, allows guests to select dates and book instantly, and automatically syncs with platforms like Airbnb, VRBO, and Booking.com to prevent double bookings. DirectBookings includes a professional booking calendar that syncs every hour via iCal with all major platforms.

DirectBookings syncs your calendar with Airbnb, VRBO, and Booking.com via iCal every hour. When a guest books on your website, those dates automatically block on Airbnb and VRBO. When someone books on Airbnb or VRBO, those dates block on your website. This prevents double bookings across all platforms without manual calendar updates.

Yes. Your DirectBookings calendar shows real-time availability. Guests select dates, see the total price instantly (including cleaning fees and taxes), and book with Stripe payment processing. Confirmation emails are sent automatically to both you and the guest. No manual approval needed unless you enable it.

Yes. DirectBookings provides an embeddable calendar widget you can add to any Squarespace, Wix, WordPress, or HTML website with a single code snippet. Guests can check availability and book directly from your existing site without being redirected. The calendar syncs with all your other platforms automatically.

DirectBookings syncs your calendar with Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, and any platform that provides an iCal feed. Sync runs every hour automatically. When a booking happens on any platform, the dates block everywhere else within 60 minutes. This industry-standard iCal sync prevents double bookings without requiring API integrations.

Yes. You can manually block dates for personal use, maintenance, or any reason directly from your dashboard. Blocked dates sync to all connected platforms (Airbnb, VRBO, etc.) automatically. You can also set minimum stays, blackout dates, and custom availability rules.

Yes. Your DirectBookings calendar shows nightly rates for each date. You can set different prices for weekdays vs weekends, seasonal rates, holiday pricing, and last-minute discounts. Guests see the total price calculation (nightly rate + cleaning fee + taxes) before they book.

DirectBookings schedules imported iCal checks hourly. Your outgoing feed reflects current direct-booking and manual blocks when retrieved, but Airbnb, VRBO and Booking.com choose when to fetch it. There is no universal five-minute update guarantee; check each receiving calendar's last successful import.

When a guest books through your calendar, you receive: guest name, email, phone number, check-in/check-out dates, number of guests, payment confirmation, and any special requests. This information goes directly to you — you own the guest data, unlike Airbnb or VRBO where the platform controls guest contact information.

DirectBookings booking calendar is included in the platform cost: $9/month for 1 property, $29/month for up to 5 properties, or $79/month for up to 10 properties. Includes real-time availability, multi-platform sync, instant booking, Stripe payments, automated confirmations, and calendar widget for embedding on your site.
